Stay in the right enviroment.

The Chambers English dictionary defines environment as follows; the external conditions influencing development or growth of a person, people group, animals or plants. It is your living or working conditions. Environmentalism is the belief that the environment rather than heredity is the main influence on a person’s behaviour and development. Whatever one believes, it would be fundamentally agreed that though the environment cannot make an orange seed produce an apple plant (heredity cannot be altered) it is the environment that determines whether an orange seed would grow and its rate of development. The environment therefore determines whether the potential of a person will be maximised. We all understand that it is ‘first the natural, then the spiritual’, the invisible things of God are clearly seen through creation. As natural seeds are influenced by their environment also the spiritual seeds that lie in us are subject to the spiritual environment we choose to live in. As certain natural seeds cannot grow in certain climatic zones also certain spiritual seeds (desires, purposes, dreams) would lie dormant under certain climatic zones. Most people do not realise that many things lie dormant in them because the spiritual environment they live in militates against those seeds. The people they relate with are programmed in direct opposition to their dreams. Our spiritual environments and climates are produced by the people we choose to relate with. Once we choose our relationships we set the landmark for our future. If we haven’t made hard decisions about our relationships we are probably relating wrongly. Words are the agents used to regulate the atmosphere. If we hang out with people who speak a lot of negative things out of frustration, anger and bitterness it administers death to the seeds in your heart. Most people speak innocently out of ignorance but the damage is the same. Evil communication corrupts good manners. One of the major keys to progress is to be selective about your association. Obey the laws of life…walk with only the wise and you shall be wise. Join the company of big thinking, active, progressive people who are upwardly mobile. Don’t get emotional. Live out your destiny!
