The Focal Point

Through faith we understand that dispensations or things came into being by the word of God so that things which are seen were made out of things which do not appear (Heb 11:13). Time is a factor that affects the achievement of results this by reason of the fact that to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the sun (Ecc 3:1). This means that every season of your life is associated with something.

There is a purpose for every given time or period within your life as an individual. This is exactly what Jesus was saying that everything that you need or would ever want in your life is attached to it. What this means is that with this thing all these other things shall be added unto you. This one thing magnetizes all these other things to you as an individual. Your responsibility is to seek out where that treasure is at that given point of your life and then to empty your life totally in the fulfilment of that particular thing. In the fulfilment of that particular thing lies the kind of house that you will live, the location of your job etc (i.e. all your desires will be contained in the pursuit of this primary objective). For example an assignment was given to Adam and then a help which was meet in the fulfilment was found.

So if you chase the material things alone it means you're looking for something else. In Matthew 13 Jesus taught about the parable of the sower. He said some fell among thorns and it was the seed of the word of God that fell among thorns. Thorns refer to the cares, the deceitfulness of riches and the lust of other things. From this scripture we can see that the incorruptible word that was sown was one single thing the thorns were legitimate things (or cares) that can be picked up by participating in this world and the desire for other things choke that central thing and it becomes unfruitful. For you to be able to succeed, you must understand that hard work is the corner stone of any success. But before you start working hard you must find the one thing that you want to pursue in your life. So you have got to be focused, because in that one thing comes diversity.

This means that you focus on one thing and it diversifies. You do not pursue many things but one single thing, and in the fulfilment of that particular thing, there will be diversity in your life. Note that you must accept the responsibility today and decide the primary focus that you truly want fulfilled in your life for the next five to ten years. To discover this you must search to know what your heart is saying and what is has been trying to get into your mind. Once we embark on this journey we will realise that there are a lot of things that people are doing that are just not necessary.

People are wasting time and burning their energy chasing shadows rather than doing the needful of pursuing the one thing which will draw the right kind of associations into their lives. Even if it is only three people they will have in their lives, they will be the right people and they will not need to know more than these people in a personal way in order for that particular seed to be fulfilled. The same word that God gave to Abraham (Gen 22:18) is what has come to us today telling us of our global dominance. Romans 4 vs13-18 tells us that there is one thing that is going to come out of you that will make you a father of many nations, for Abraham it was through Joseph that he became the father of many nations.

There is one thing that is embedded inside you through which you will inherit the earth. This is the one thing that you need to focus on and then light will be shed on your way. You need to find out what that one thing is that everything will revolve around and that is the starting point to every other thing. This means there is one thing that must be accomplished in your life and that will be the defining point which will lead to the branching out of other things in your life. By things branching it means that there will be relationships that will be formed in your life without it having anything to do with connection. Which will then help you diversify that central thing while you stay focused on that one thing. Other things will grow out effortlessly through other people that are connected to you.
