WEST AFRICA FAITH BELIEVERS’ CONVENTION (WAFBEC) 2019 PRAYER
THEME SCRIPTURE
The results of the WAFBEC 2019 is hinged upon these Scriptures as given by God:
Luke 4:25-27
25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
26 But unto none of them was Elijah sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
The anointing released at WAFBEC will be two-dimensional as seen in the scriptures below:
First Dimension:
As it is seen in Elijah’s ministry to the widow during a time of famine, the anointing released at WAFBEC 2019 will break the effect the environment has on the outcome of our lives. The limitation on the outside will not be seen in our lives by reason of the word of wisdom that we will receive directly from the Spirit concerning what to do in 2019 and beyond.
As the anointing upon Elijah was sent to break the hold of the environment and its apparent shortage over the life of the widow through specific instructions, so will the same anointing be sent unto us. Through the insights it will give, the anointing will neutralize the limitations of our environment over the results we get.
There is a ‘famine’ causing a lot of migration like in the times of old.
Genesis 12:10
And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.
Ruth 1:1
Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem-Judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.
However, Jesus says that they need not depart (Matthew 14:15-17) because He knows exactly what to do. It is what to do that we will see at WAFBEC 2019.
Matthew 14:15-17
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, this is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Jesus said unto them, they need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, we have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
Second Dimension:
The second assignment of the anointing is as seen in Elisha’s ministry to Naaman; to fulfill the will of God in healing the sick. This is the type of anointing that rested upon Elisha and it will be sent to get all bodies fully functioning. Every sick person who steps into that auditorium at WAFBEC 2019 will be healed. The healing power of Jesus will be made manifest. Sick bodies will be completely restored.
People who came to Jesus primarily came for two reasons: to hear the word of God and to be healed of their infirmities. This still obtains till date. The first way in which the public ministry of Jesus is broadcast to the world is through teaching and then in healing of the sick.
Luke 6:17
And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
Luke 5:15
But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
PRAYER FOR WAFBEC
The following scriptures will frame our prayer:
Isaiah 25:3-11
3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
6 And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
10 For in this mountain shall the hand of the Lord rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
11 And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
The feast on this mountain we henceforth refer to as WAFBEC 2019 will be a manifestation of these two types of anointing as seen on Elijah and Elisha.
The Conference will be the centre for these anointings that will be sent to us. The work will be accomplished through the ministry of the word of God and by the demonstrations of the Spirit in His diversities.
God will grant rhemas (i.e. specific words from God, addressing specific issues in people’s lives) which will flow from the throne of grace with the gifts of the Spirit accomplishing these two things.
Prayer Points
We make the following requests in the name of Jesus:
Giving Thanks
First, we thank You and worship You God for all You have done in the last six editions of WAFBEC. We thank You for the ministrations of the Spirit, impartations, healings and revelation that has been released, making it one of the most impactful conferences in the land. To You alone belong all praise.
Prayer Point 1
We ask for grace, that we by the Spirit may adequately give to you the portion that belongs to you at this meeting; that we offer up acceptable spiritual sacrifices in our worship and praise, thanksgiving and our giving. We ask for grace to welcome visitors and strangers into our midst and to show hospitality in Your wisdom that the prerequisite for Your manifest presence may be fulfilled in us by Your Spirit.
1 Peter 2:5
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. We ask that by our spiritual worship WAFBEC 2019 be sanctified causing the might of your Spirit to be released working wonders in our midst in an unprecedented way.
Prayer Point 2
We thank You for the harvest already and ask that laborers be sent into the harvest to bring the people You will have into this meeting. We pray that You stir up the hearts of everyone in C3 to reach out into the area of their influence bringing men in. Many are hurting and need the release of these anointings into their lives.
Matthew 9:35-38
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest
Prayer Point 3
We pray that WAFBEC 2019 fulfills Isaiah 25: 6-11
We ask for utterance that Your word be spoken boldly under an Elijah and Elisha anointing to feed people with wisdom, insights and instructions that will nuetralize the effect of the environment on everyone’s life.
We ask for a feast of those two anointings at WAFBEC 2019 and that this be made evident after this meeting by a supernatural rise and flourishing in the lives of the people such that it defies the pull of the environment.
We ask that great utterance be given in boldness, such that the ministers bring glad tidings of great joy, addressing specifics in people’s lives.
We ask that this weight of glory that is evident in the lives of the attendees would bring sinners to You. Those who were once in the things of God and now murmuring would choose to re-learn the doctrine of Christ and return to the path of the kingdom.
Isaiah 29:23-24 (KJV)
23 But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
24 They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.
Prayer Point 4
At this point, present to God the specific detailed requests (write them down) that you want addressed in your life at WAFBEC 2019. Ask that the anointing be sent directly to you, causing words of wisdom, prophecies and manifestations of power be directed towards you.
Ask about the things you are facing now and revelation for God’s direction in 2019. Ask that God reveals (during WAFBEC 2019) things concerning your future, with detailed instructions on what to say and do.
Declare as you pray that the husbandman that labours must be the first partaker of the fruits.
Prayer Point 5
Acts 14:8-10
8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked:
9 The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear😉 unto this day.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
We ask for ears that will hear and eyes that will see. Father let Your spirit of wisdom and revelation rest upon us, so that we have encounters in our hearts as we listen; that we see Your image and hear Your voice.
We ask that You open our eyes as You did for Elisha, that we may clearly behold Your image and we also hear at such depth that things considered impossible, based on our past, will be executed immediately after this conference.
We command in the name of Jesus, that the veil cast over the people be removed, and everyone comes in with seeing eyes and hearing ears.
Prayer Point 6
Acts 4:29-33
29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: …
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
We ask for signs and wonders for healing to follow the ministry of the word. We ask that special miracles be wrought in the physical bodies of the attendees at this meeting, with souls getting saved, and people being baptized in the Holy Ghost at the conference.
We ask You Father, that You confirm Your word with the proof of divine healing and diverse miracles upon the bodies of people.
WAFBEC CONFESSION – to be made daily before and after prayer.
I praise and worship You my Father, for all You did by Your Spirit at WAFBEC 2019, all in the name of Jesus. There was a definite release of the anointing into the meetings.
Utterance was clearly granted unto the ministers as they spoke words that were as rain drops from heaven upon the lives of the people, causing hidden and dead things to spring forth into life and for us all to flourish. The words spoken were as raindrops of the Holy Ghost upon us; the voice of Christ imparted life into us.
I saw and witnessed diverse healings take place, men and women walked off wheel chairs, sick bodies completely restored, people were saved and restored in great number.
People came in great numbers. This was expected because I saw people stirred up and reaching out into the harvest, beckoning people to come into the meetings. It was clear that the blindfold over souls was completely removed as people trooped into all the sessions, such that the auditorium was full, even during the morning sessions.
I heard shouts of joy, saw faces brighten and men weep for joy as the word of God entered their souls. The presence of the Spirit could be felt in collective worship as God’s presence was real and tangible. The anointing was at an unprecedented level and truly, it was a feast of joy.
The results of this meeting stayed in our lives, bringing forth fruit every day. We praise and give You all the glory for WAFBEC 2019. It was truly a festival of joy, faith and life in the name of Jesus. Amen
