The Power of Triumphant Faith

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace…! But now they are hid from thine eyes.(Luke 19vs39-42).

Words are uttered thoughts. They are very important and can determine the way things play out in our lives. We see and experience what we think. It is our duty to learn to stay with positive thoughts. We must be aware of the thoughts we nurture or harbour because they all have consequences which may or may not be grave depending on our choice. Negative thoughts are harmful and must not be given heed to.
In the above Scripture, Jesus wept over a city because the people had no idea what (gift, plan, peace)He had in stock for them.

He said He could not help because they could not see that far. He felt pity for them. They lacked divine intelligence…a gift we can only access when His Word becomes our dominant thought. Without it, the future is blurred and bleak. Isaiah 55vs8-11 it says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

As individuals, we do not have any idea of the events God wants to bring out of our life. We do not even have the faintest idea of things He has placed within us! But then, the truth is that there are things made for our peace and prosperity. They come as thoughts stemming from God. These thoughts give peace and joy that help us lead exceptional lives as God’s children here on earth.
Most times, divine visitations begin with streams of thoughts. Illumination! The Wisdom, Understanding and Insights we encounter on the pages of Scriptures as we meditate on His Word. His Word becomes our dominant thoughts which when acted upon opens us up to the path of His eternal will…the path of peace. God has prepared your life. His thoughts are those of peace and they will bring you to an expected end!
Even the whole earth, the creation began at His Word… the logos …God’s divine intelligence. So literally, being with the Word is being with divine intelligence-the mind that formed this world! Everything came out of thoughts!
When we work in line with His will, our lives experience harmony at an unprecedented level. His Word is His Will. It framed this world. It can also shape our lives. But we need to pay it more attention. We need to allow His Word consume us. Then, we can access His help and already mapped out plan for our lives. Then, Jesus would be able to help. Your thought makes your life. Divine intelligence makes an outstanding life…But the choice is yours to make. May the Holy Spirit open the eyes of our understanding to know the mind of God as we study and obey the Scriptures daily. Amen.
