The Power of Triumphant Faith

Rejoicing and singing praises makes God do things one cannot explain. Rejoicing brought the answer to Sarah. A lot of people have promises from God but are yet to conceive it on the inside. At the age of twenty- five God told Sarah she will bear a child but she never conceived it until a time came when the word of God got connected to that desire living inside her. And in the midst of the crisis she conceived it on the inside. The bible says “Sarah said God made her to laugh.” This means while she was expressing that joy she conceived. There are people reading this article right now and who have received the promises of God some years or months back; am letting you know it’s time to conceive those things and allow it go from the pages of the bible, or from a cd or tape to a living reality on the inside of you. The greatest honor a man can confer on God is to rejoice at the truth that he knows in his life even though everything around contradicts it. The greatest honor you can give to God is to tell Him that even though things are not looking good on the outside “I will rejoice at thy word as though this thing has already happened in my life (Psalm 119:162).” Mary also conceived by rejoicing. Luke 1:34-38, “then said Mary unto the angel how shall this thing be? Seeing that I know no man and the angel answered and said unto her the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the Highest shall over shadow thee. Therefore the Holy thing that shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God and behold thy cousin Elizabeth she also has conceived a son of her old age and this is the sixth month with her because she was called barren. And Mary said behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it unto me according to thy word and the angel departed.
In Matt 1:18 it says; “now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise, when as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” There are times when God wants to do some things in your life and He disconnects you from people that have the advantage. You are not happy about it but He separates you from them so that He alone can take all the glory. Even when you do not understand, know that it is simply the genius of God at work; just continue to give Him praise. He might be separating you from things that you feel you cannot do without but all He is trying to create is a divine distinction so that when the visitation comes, it is clear to everyone that this is the hand of God. Gal 4:21-27says; “tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written Abraham has two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh, but he who was of the freewoman was of the promise, which things are allegory, for these are two covenants; the one from the Mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which is now, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, rejoice, thou barren that bearest not, break forth and cry, thou that travailest not, for the desolate hath many children than she which hath a husband.” In conclusion as believers we must rejoice at all times and especially when it seems like nothing is working our way. Sarah took the promises of God and rejoiced in it despite her situation. As Sarah rejoiced she conceived and bore her child of promise upon the earth. In the same way, when you continue to rejoice in the face of adversity or challenge we are simply taking our stand in God and letting the enemy know that the word of God is the only established force in our lives and not what the environment presents.
