The Power of Triumphant Faith

“Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places, wherefore he said take unto you the whole armour of God.(Ephesians6 vs 11&20)”

The armour of God covers every part of human anatomy and life that Satan seeks to attack in order to stop any individual from getting all God intended for their life. The devil will always try to use the rules of life or spiritual laws either against you or to exploit you. When you understand what the armour of God stands for and what it covers it brings you to the knowledge and the strategy of what the devil is actually capable of doing.

Every piece of the amour of God covers everything in one’s life. The bible does not leave us to wishful thinking rather it spells out what God intends for every believer on the earth. It tells us about the six different parts of the amour which are Hope, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Truth and the Rhema which is the word of God on your lips. Once you understand all the different parts of the amour and how to use it then it becomes effective in your life. It is through prayer that you can effectively activate the various parts of God’s armour. Therefore, as believers we must always watch and pray at all times. ‘To watch’ means to spend time studying the word and praying. It’s a time you set aside to spend alone with God. By doing so it shows you are watching over your life by taking the armour of God and using it as a shield in the place of prayer. The bible says give to Caesar what is Caesars’ and give to God what is Gods’. So, ensure you find the time either one hour, two hours early in the morning or late at night where you can spend concentrated amount of time praying unto God.

The bible says, “the heavens belong to the Lord’s, the earth has He given to the children of men” (Ps 115:16). For instance if a man is given a car and in three weeks the same car is totally filled with dirt and filth; the giver of the car will not be blamed but the user of the car. In the same manner God has given us the earth therefore; the condition of the earth is the sole responsibility of man since we have received it. Hence, whatever happens on earth man has the authority to bind and to lose it. For the bible says, “man who is in the place of authority and honour and understandeth it not will perish like the beast of the field (Psalm 49-20). Also in Psalm 8:4-6 says, “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet. As believers we are expected to work and act in authority concerning anything that confronts us on the earth. This is because everything we could ever need or want God has already made the provision for us.
Once you begin to pray right you will find out that all things are actually possible. God wants us to take authority and power over everything on the earth. And it is only in the place of prayer that we can exercise such power. As believers we have got to take the issues of our lives more seriously by addressing them in the place of prayer. This is because a lot of things happen to believers that should never happen. When you study the bible further you will understand that the reason some blessing don’t come in hundred folds was because you stopped praying and thought the little breakthrough was enough. Remember the story of Esther when she got to the court of the king and got the request to get Haman killed; then the king asked her what else and she requested that Haman’s evil letter against the Jews in all the King’s provinces be reversed. And when that happened the king asked again is there any more and she asked for more (Esther 5, 6, 7 & 8). This shows that there are levels and layers in victory. If you get into the practice of prayer you will know and understand that there are some things you could have asked for but you didn’t. It takes that breakthrough in prayer to get into that dimension where there is the free flow of the anointing and the unction which will make you sensitive in the place prayer.
