The Power of Triumphant Faith

‘For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left'(Isaiah 30:19-21)

When you find yourself in the place of adversity, you need a teacher. Someone that will come into your life and show you the Word of God that will help point you to the right path. The Bible talks about us entering the ‘promised land’ and we must realize there are various lands in God with promises. For instance, if someone holds a healing seminar, what they are doing is showing you that land; by teaching scriptures on healing until they transfer the title deed to people who need healing.

If someone should ask, ‘are you sure this child of yours will make it’ you may say ‘yes!’ Why? Because you believe God is good and He will not fail you. This is HOPE. Kenneth Hagin (of blessed memory) once said that he prayed for his children ONCE and he never prayed again and they never veered off the Christian path. He said what he did was that he knew what the will of God was for his children. So when each was born, he lifted up each and prayed that they be fulfilled. He had the title deed and that was what he used in his prayer of faith over his children.

The title-deed is like the angel coming to Mary with a description of the events surrounding the birth of the child Jesus. As a result, she had the title-deed in her hands for the life of Jesus and she kept it in her heart. In the same way, Zechariah had the title deed for the life of John the Baptist because the angel came to him and communicated in a descriptive way the ministry of John the Baptist which is the voice of one crying in the wilderness; the forerunner of Christ. What about Moses? God called him and gave the title deed for the nation of Israel. The day Aaron and Miriam crossed the line God reprimanded them and reminded them the title deed for the nation was given to Moses.

To have hope is good because if we all heard that God was hard-hearted and callous, we wouldn’t even have the courage to approach Him! When we hear others share their testimonies it is a reminder to us that God is good and is approachable. The point is that just knowing He is good isn’t enough to get you what you desire from Him. Faith is when you approach Him and He gives you something that tells you this is YOUR OWN. However, many people pray the prayer of hope rather than the prayer of faith and when you pray the prayer of hope, you are subject to your environment. This is because when you don’t have the title deed, you will constantly check ON THE OUTSIDE to find out whether God is doing it or not. So when bad news comes, your heart is depressed because you don’t have any substance inside your heart and as a result you will be tossed to and fro by every wind. When it seems like it is working you will be happy and when it doesn’t seem so you will be sad. Having the title deed to any issue or challenge gives you the assurance and certainty that what God has promised; He is able and faithful to perform it because its manifestation depends solely on the Word of God (Title Deed).
