The Power of Triumphant Faith

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.    And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth   forth his fruit in his season; his leaf shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:2-3

I was speaking to a friend about the power of meditation and how it produces manifestation. I mentioned a book I read by John G. Lake and what he wrote about meditation and a scientific experiment he performed to show them the effect of eternal life upon his being, far back as 1920. He implored them to attach some things to his brain and they in return should look at the meter that read the vibrations in His brain and see what the effect will be. In his words “I understand the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus that is the law of the spirit that gives life in Christ Jesus”. He said ‘it is this law that the Spirit uses to quicken my mortal body. So he started to mutter the scripture to himself- in actual fact the term meditation starts by muttering the scriptures; he said ‘I started muttering under my breath, started talking about certain psalms, as I was saying it, the people performing the experiment said that the radar started moving. They looked at him and said ‘ what are you doing? , what is going on here?’ . Life was going from the Holy Ghost as he was meditating (muttering) into his mortal flesh.
Let me tell you this; when you are meditating upon the Word of God, anything you see in your heart while mediating with no effort , that is what will come to pass in your life. The point I am trying to make is whatever you envision for five seconds while meditating on the scriptures will without any hassle come to you, and this goes without any effort on your part. It is the business of the Holy Ghost to cause that thing to come to pass, this means it is neither by power or by might but solely by the Spirit. What we do often is that we read and study the bible but we do not meditate upon the answer that God has given us. A medical doctor friend said ‘ I went to check the word mediate in the Hebrew language as it is used in Joshua 1:8 as medicos , it is the root word for the application or giving of medicine to a patient at specific times during the day to produce results. The Bible says you should meditate upon it day and night- this means when you wake up in the morning and at the close of day, you meditate. David said “ a man who delights in the law of the Lord and upon this law does he meditates day and night, he shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water….’ Which means that he will be in Nigeria or somewhere else but being a tree planted by the rivers of water, the person can never say the environment is not right. The bible says “…his leaves shall not wither and whatsoever that man does will prosper”. You get it when God reveals the answer to you, you in turn spend quality time meditating.
The woman with the issue of blood must have spent time meditating, because she could not have been talking out loudly, as she would not want anybody to know that she had a severe and threatening medical condition. When she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, the bible says “she said within herself, she was muttering to herself , she applied what she knew about Jesus and that was the end of the matter, ‘… if I touch the hem of His garment, everything will disappear from my body’ so she kept muttering to herself and as she did that, she must have seen something on the inside that no one else saw, there must have been flashes of inspiration. This is where the warfare is, a man can come from the most cursed family in this world, if he goes to God and surrenders to Him, telling God to show him the end of the matter, God will answer. This is what Jesus did on the cross for us. He reveals the end of the matter to who ever asks for His help. When God reveals the ultimate end of a matter to us we should start to meditate and mutter the scriptures to ourselves until light breaks and we envisage ourselves in that situation. By doing so there is nothing on the outside that can influence us because the kingdom of God dwells on the inside of us.
The change that God wants to bring has to do with a shift in your consciousness from an unfavorable outcome, to that of you thinking and meditating upon His word to effectually see the positive outcome of challenges in the future.
