The Power of Triumphant Faith

The focus today is on the grace of God and how it can be personalised in your life. I am not referring to the general grace of God, which is God in His sovereignty, who causes rain to fall upon any type of person or  the sun to rise upon every single person whether  good or bad etc.  I am talking about the operation of that grace in a more direct and personal way which is the specific grace of God at work in every single individual. For this reason, we now have peace with God because He is at peace with us,  inviting us back into His presence because the way into the holiest of all has been opened up by a new and living way which is  the blood of Jesus Christ.  Since the wages of sin is death therefore, sin could only be answered with death. That means man  could not get reconciliation or restoration or deal with the issue of sin with good works. If sin was going to be dealt with death had to be employed thus, without the shedding of blood there could be no remission of sin. It  was one man’s decision, Adam, in the garden that brought the whole world into sin and since we collectively come under the influence of Adam’s decision it was also right and appropriate for us to collectively come under the influence of the decision of Christ to redeem us from sin. When Jesus paid the price and died for the sin of Adam, the wages of sin was paid fully and the door to the holiest of all was open for everyone to gain access.

This grace and access that Christ has given to us is beyond   just  being at peace with God, it is more of God wanting to restore to mankind what we lost in the garden.  He wants to get us back  into the original plan that He had so that you can go out and do the task that He wants you to really do. Through this access that we now have we can enter into the grace of God for our lives in a personal  way. To find that grace that God has ordained for us, the scripture says, “therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God”(Romans5:1-2).

The hope here means that certain things are going to happen for us and in us because we have discovered this grace therefore, we must stand in it. It is in finding this grace that you get to know what it really is and how you can walk in it to bring about the realization of your purpose. Grace is the capital for your life.  For example, when the grace of God came into the life of Joseph and he found that personalised grace, we saw an injection of capital into his life that transformed him and took him from the prison right into the palace. For Moses we see him as a good guy, intelligent, talented, Knowledgeable and working for Jethro.  But then at one point the grace- which is the capital for his life was injected into him and then he experienced that massive transformation enabling him to fulfil, his purpose as the deliverer of Israel.

There is the general grace that God has given us through his son Jesus Christ but there is another grace which is personalised  that we need in order to fulfil God’s ordained purpose for our lives. It is only when a man comes in contact with this grace that he will be able to fully perform and reach the level that God wants him to reach in life.
