The Power of Triumphant Faith

In most situations or projects, you really do not know what will happen at each point or what decision to make. Even Moses did not know what he was going to do at certain  points in time. It is not that he had it made, but he knew what to do in order to find out what was on God’s mind. In every situation God’s word to us is, ‘Fear not, believe only and you shall see the glory of the Lord.’ (Exodus 14:13) The next thing is that God will show up. The key that Moses used was that he stood still in the midst of that particular circumstance. When the temptation and pressure was there, he had to stay still in his heart before God and stay there worshipping and praising. Moses exalted God over and above the fear of death; exalt God over and above the sting of death that is in the circumstances all around you. As light came to him his mind, things began to happen in his life. Start with what is in your life today and just stand still before God.

And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the lord, the lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above, and they shall stand upon an heap (Joshua 3:13). In the passage quoted, only a priest must get involved and these are priests who are bearing the Ark of God. When the priest’s feet enters the water whilst bearing the Ark, the water parts. This simply means that as a priest of the Most High and a bearer of the Ark, your involvement  in any project makes all the difference i.e. once the sole of your feet touches that particular situation or project, things begin to happen.

So for any person that has something going on in their heart before God, all he needs to do is to keep worshipping and to stand still before God. This means a Christian should be a priest of the most high God, a carrier of the Ark of the Covenant. For example, when a Christian is in an office and is involved there  supernatural things will begin to happen because he is the carrier of the Ark (i.e. God’s presence). As a result of this, he will not murmur or complain despite any contrary treatment that he receives or make the mistake the Jews made in the wilderness. Rather than complaints, there will always be gladness in his heart, rejoicing and thanksgiving because he is committed God’s presence that he is carrying inside of him; this is what is creating the supernatural in his life.

This means anytime you are still before God, He moves on your behalf and causes things to happen. This stillness can only be achieved as you enter into His presence and begin to worship Him and offer up thanksgiving. When you do this God begins to move in the situation  and then opportunities will begin to open up for you. You must realise that opportunities are right before you, all you have to do is to draw the right conclusions and ideas outside the range of your senses will dawn on you. when we stand still before the Lord and worship Him the depth of being His child (i.e. a true worshipper) will be unveiled to you as you fellowship with Him.
