The Power of Triumphant Faith

As a believer you must learn and understand how to control your environment if not it will keep you captive. You must learn how to rise above whatever challenge or difficulty that comes your way because it is the environment that sets limitation on people. You need to renew your mind so that everything that God has ordained within you can come to pass. It is not about the amount of sermons you listen to that will bring about the change.

This is because if you preach to a set of people that do not understand what you are preaching about; the words or promises of God will seem far off. They will look at the promises and even though they want it, like the nation of Israel wanted and desired the Promised Land it will all seem unreachable. This is because the experiences they had in the past just did not allow them to accept the promises of God that they know to be the true will of God for their lives; and to see with their eyes that it could actually become the experience in their lives.

Hence you might preach to people about great things in the word of God but because of the experiences within their lives and the condition of their soul they find it difficult to accept that things like that can actually happen to them. It is important to know how to surmount these issues because the world has spent time trying to make sure that people are programmed in a way that is in complete opposition to what God has intended for their life. This means when God shows up in your life and says “this is what I have separated you from your mother’s womb to become”, things that happened in your early days or things that happened around you will so contradict what God is saying that the person finds it difficult to accept the will of God for their life. Once it is not accepted by that person, then there is nothing that can be done to change the life of that particular person. That is why God said, “Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. (Heb 8 vs 9-10)

We know that the tongue of a man is the pen of a ready writer (Psalm 45:1) so; God is saying I will use your tongue to change the laws that are written inside your heart and change the experiences in your soul so that you can experience my word within your life. The things that God wants to change are the experiences that are in your soul therefore, once you can accept that what He is saying is true; it will automatically happen within your life. That is why God says “I will use my tongue/words to rewrite the laws”, in other words, I will use my tongue to change the experiences that are inside your soul in order to give you access to certain things within your life. Therefore, as believers we must be careful with how we use our words. Let’s use our words to build the life and world that God created and intended for us.
